To Do: Shady Ladies Fall Season Finale!
Well, here's your last chance to see a Shady Lady game this year... Jump at it! This week's schedule is as follows:
12 PM Shady Ladies (C) vs. Force
1 PM Shady Ladies (C) vs. Bat Boys
2 PM Shady Ladies (D) vs. Knights
3 PM Shady Ladies (D) vs. Chaos
All of this week's games are at Krieg Fields (Field #2).
Since we're expecting higher than usual fan numbers this week we will be collecting cans for the Capital Area Food Bank. Here is the info for the food drive:
For every pound of food donated, the Food Bank can provide the equivalent of .8 meals. Remember, for every $1 donated, the Food Bank can provide 5 meals.
What should I donate?
* Healthy non-perishable food
* Items with intact, un-opened, consumer or commercial packaging
* Items with non-breakable packaging (no glass please)
* Food within the expiration date on the packaging
What are the most-requested items?
* Canned meats like tuna, stew and chili (pop-tops preferred)
* Canned vegetables
* Pasta & pasta sauce
* Beans
* Rice
* Healthy cereals
* Peanut butter
* Baby food & baby formula

Every $5 donated provides $20 worth of nutritious food to Central Texas families.

I have a Shady Lady living in my subway station, but I'm scared to give her a can of something because she yells at me every night! Actually, I'd rather offer her a shower.
There's a few Shady Ladies who could use a shower, or even just some deodorant.
